JOHNNY B DAVY started his career at 10 years of age playing the drums and quickly teaching himself how to play guitar and piano. From there he began writing songs and spent a few years working as a record producer. In his mid-years, with family in different needs to attend to, he left his music and made his mark in corporate finance. But music has always remained his passion. He has also had the privilege of living in many different cultures.

The album was created soon after the passing of my eight year old son Joshua. It is a blend of several genres, rock, orchestrated rock, country rock and folk.
Through The Eyes Of 8 is composed of 12 tracks each varying in tone and harmonics emphasizing how love, relationships and sharing continue to play a major role in our lives.
The Album was recorded in Vancouver, BC in my living room.

Vancouver BC, Canada — July 30, 2021— JOHNNY B DAVY announces the return to his musical career following the passing of his 8-year-old son, Joshua in 2016. The inspiration behind the songs produced a blend of several genres rock, orchestrated rock, country rock and folk.
While each song varies in tone, they are all original. Through The Eyes Of 8 is composed of 12 tracks relating to how his son may have seen his life. The songs are very harmonic and emphasize how love, relationships and sharing continue to play a major role in our lives. The accompanying video is currently on YouTube.
